PLD Space participated in the Implementation Dialogue on Space, hosted by the European Commission, a forum bringing together leading industrial players from across Europe’s space sector to help shape a more ambitious and coordinated European space policy. On 5 November 2025, our Co-founder & CBDO, Raúl Verdú, contributed the perspective of Europe’s launch industry, marking an important step for PLD Space within the European space economy and our participation in a high-level meeting alongside major industrial leaders, reinforcing our commitment to advancing Europe’s autonomous access to space. #EUSpace

Over the past weeks, we have continued advancing the Gas Generator Qualification campaign to ensure this hardware is fully ready for flight. Our Qualification Model (QM) Gas Generator has successfully accumulated over 15 minutes of operating time across 20 test runs, covering all launch and re-entry scenarios. These tests included: ▪️Ignition and short-duration burn (5 s) ▪️Medium engine running time (20 s) ▪️Stage 1 nominal burn duration (40 s) ▪️Longest Burn (LB) for engine duty cycle ▪️Extended burn (+10%) for qualification margins With more than 15 minutes of accumulated runtime, this Gas Generator has operated at over 400% of a single mission requirement, including simulations of 3 booster re-entry burns, preparing the hardware for reusability conditions. Hardware reliability is a must, and with all those tests, PLD Space can better determine when if hardware can fail during the process and introduce improvements that allow MIURA 5 to a successful mission 🚀

Last evening, we received the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 award at the 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, held in Madrid. Our Executive President, Ezequiel Sánchez, accepted the award on behalf of PLD Space, recognizing our commitment to enabling rapid, reliable, and sustainable access to space. MIURA 5 stage 1 transport container is already in the house! The team is now continuing with transport preparations to our testing facilities in Teruel for the very first stage 1 wet dress rehearsal test at qualification level in the upcoming weeks. #GoMIURA5

✨ Ayer acompañamos a la European Space Agency - ESA en la celebración de su 50 aniversario en Madrid, en el Centro Europeo de Astronomía Espacial (ESAC), un encuentro presidido por Josef Aschbacher, que reunió a representantes del Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades y de la Agencia Espacial Española, así como a las principales empresas del sector espacial español. Durante el acto, la ministra Diana Morant Ripoll reafirmó el apoyo a PLD Space y a la industria espacial española. En paralelo, Raúl Verdú participó en la firma oficial del contrato ESA NAVISP con los representantes de ESA Navigation.
