Many still see mining as a traditional, manual industry, but those of us with strong partnerships in the sector know that view is long outdated. The reality is, the mining industry in 2026 is at the forefront of innovation, driven by digital transformation and automation that are reshaping operations worldwide. In Olivia Durrant’s Global Mining Trends 2026 article, she explores how technology is redefining exploration and efficiency, from AI cutting discovery time to IoT and predictive tech reducing downtime. That being said, these advancements are not without their challenges. Read the full insight into the state of global mining here: https://lnkd.in/e7vHvnQk

How high on your priority list are values when hiring? Olivia Durrant recently spoke with Dali Rashid, PhD. Cofounder and CTO at Genomines; an innovative metals extraction company on a mission to transform the sector through phytomining. Like many businesses in the earlier stages, the team at Genomines recognised that establishing a strong culture early on, can make or break success. When your team is small, it’s vital that every employee is fully invested in the mission and the journey. But Genomines takes it a step further. They place such a strong emphasis on values that their hiring decisions prioritise qualities such as curiosity, adaptability, and integrity - even above credentials in some cases. Listen to the full episode to find more about the exciting future of Genomines and how recruiting for qualities over qualifications has fuelled their success. 🎙️ : https://lnkd.in/e4KGn_E4 Read more about Genomines here: https://lnkd.in/eBB6_v3r #ConversationsWithCSG

Cosy season is in full swing and the leaves are turning at our Leeds HQ, but what have the #LifeAtCSG teams been up to around the world? Alex, John and Connor headed stateside to get a taste for the Tampa lifestyle ahead of their move next year. 18 of us headed to the countryside to hike 25 miles in support of Alzheimer's Society, raising £3200+ in the process. George and Jack were crowned winners of the CSG Talent Charity Padel tournament across both the Leeds and Manchester offices. Ryan joined our Sydney team, and kicked things off in style, with a day out getting into the racing spirit for the Melbourne Cup Plenty of our teams headed out to celebrate epic quarters - with our Aerospace team heading out to a very fitting Space themed menu at Six By Nico! Throwing it back to September, our High Flyers headed to Marbella to mark some unbelievable individual performances. We hit half a million LinkedIn followers and marked the milestone with a 500k Balloon Pop Giveaway in our favourite office spot: The Apartment Our UK teams headed out for Bonfire Night, bringing their families along to join the fun If the past few months are anything to go by, the rest of the year’s looking pretty special already.
