Driving healthcare forward in Queensland 🏥 Mace is proud to be delivering project and programme management services in partnership with Queensland Health for the transformation of the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital. As part of the Queensland Government’s Hospital Rescue Plan, this £395.8 million investment is expanding access to critical health services, creating jobs, and supporting Queensland’s growing communities ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Games. Working alongside Built. as Managing Contractor, our Australia team is supporting all phases of delivery, from design and construction through to commissioning and operational readiness. The hospital will have: ✨ 112 new inpatient beds ✨ 8 new operating theatres ✨ 1,379 new parking bays The project includes a new Multi-Storey Car Park and a comprehensive refurbishment of the existing hospital campus, including upgraded imaging, pharmacy, pathology, kitchen and back-of-house areas, plus new infrastructure to ensure long-term resilience. #MaceConsult #MaceAPAC #Healthcare

Today, Peru is adopting this proven model across all levels of government to strengthen the way public infrastructure is delivered for communities nationwide. Working in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank, we’re now supporting the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas del Perú) to establish a PMO Centre of Excellence within the General Directorate of Multiannual Investment Programming – helping embed best practice, accelerate project delivery, and build capacity for long-term, sustainable impact. Double celebration at ECMWF’s new HQ 🎉 Last week was a double celebration for our team: topping out the structural frame of the new European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts - ECMWF headquarters and winning Best Future Project of the Year at the Berks Property Awards 2025. The topping out celebration brought together Jonathan Richards (Mace), Nicholas Morley (Government Property Agency), Matthew Millett (Department for Science, Innovation and Technology), Andrew Gundry (ECMWF), Frank Loehner (BDP), and Sean Masterson (Getjar) to mark the occasion. Ready for something out of this world? 🚀🔬   We’re proud to announce that Mace Construct has been appointed for the construction of Vulcan 20-20, a world-leading laser facility at the Science and Technology Facilities Council’s (STFC) Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire.   This landmark project will deliver the world’s most powerful laser, enabling pioneering research into fusion energy, space conditions, and fundamental physics. How do you unlock the true potential of retrofit? 🏗️ In recent years, the UK has seen a shift towards retrofit, driven by carbon reduction targets, new legislation, and a pressing need to future-proof ageing building stock. Yet many opportunities are left untapped, with retrofit projects often falling short of their full potential. Martin Feakes, Head of Engineering at Mace Construct, argues that the construction industry is often constrained by traditional thinking, missing the potential to redefine what’s possible through engineering led innovation. We’ve got great news from Peru!🏫🚸 The Bicentennial Schools programme (Escuelas Bicentenario), led by the country’s Ministry of Education (MINISTERIO DE EDUCACION), has announced the tendering of an additional 17-school portfolio and the extension of our consultancy services into 2027.  This exciting expansion will be in addition to the ongoing construction of 75 schools across Peru, with 46 already in operation.  Mace provides programme management, procurement and PMO consultancy services. Working alongside JV partner Gleeds, we have been the Peruvian government’s delivery partner since November 2021.  This new stage demonstrates the solid relationship with our client and the continued success of the programme, which is set to benefit over 138,000 students in total. #MaceConsult #MaceAmericas #MacePeru
