Festive cheer starts early here at TP ICAP. Our London office got creative decorating party bags for Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity, an organisation which brightens the lives of seriously ill children by granting wishes and providing them with ongoing support. We're proud to have been part of this landmark deal through our Weather Derivatives Desk - https://lnkd.in/e7DR5sjZ
Gunvor Executes First Enwex German Onshore Wind Futures Block Trade on Abaxx Exchange Trading has commenced in our Enwex German Onshore Wind Futures, the exclusive benchmark for the Enwex German Wind Index, with Gunvor Group completing the contract’s first block trade today. The two parties traded 10 lots of the February 2026 Enwex German Onshore Wind (GWM) Futures contract at EUR 28.45/hour. The trade was brokered by TP ICAP, with clearing services provided by ADM Investor Services Singapore, KGI 凱基 Securities and Marex. Gunvor Group's Ronny Bendlin Spür reflected on what this first trade signals for renewable-linked risk management: 🗯️ “This first trade shows how exchange-listed products can play a useful role in managing the growing exposure to renewable generation risk. By completing the first wind futures trade on Abaxx, we’ve helped demonstrate how standardized exchange products can bring transparency, efficiency, and liquidity to the weather derivatives market. As wind and solar continue to shape price dynamics in power markets, the ability to hedge resource-driven volatility will become essential for producers, investors, and energy traders alike.” Tim Boyce, Head of Weather Derivatives, EMEA at TP ICAP added: 🗯️ “As the world's leading interdealer broker, we proudly leverage our global network and deep expertise to enhance market liquidity. Executing this inaugural trade marks a key milestone, and we look forward to collaborating with all market participants to drive continued growth.” Willy Cahyadi, Managing Director, ADM Investor Services Singapore, stated: 🗯️ “We are proud to clear the first trades on Abaxx’s Enwex German Onshore Wind Futures on behalf of ADMIS’ global client base. As energy markets evolve, we continue to provide the dependable and innovative solutions our clients rely on to manage risk with confidence.” Read Release in the Abaxx Newsroom ⬇️ 🔗: https://lnkd.in/eMwvDECe

Strong number skills build confident people, better money choices, and stronger futures, which is why we're proud to support National Numeracy's Number Confidence Week. #NumberConfidenceWeek
Today marks the start of Number Confidence Week 2025 (3–7 November) – a nationwide campaign led by National Numeracy to help people build confidence with numbers as a route to stronger financial confidence and opportunity. This year’s theme, Money Matters, shines a spotlight on how number confidence underpins every financial decision we make, at home, at work, and across society. From managing household budgets to building financially confident workforces, the ability to understand and use numbers is essential. Highlights include a live school assembly on Wednesday spearheaded by our headline supporter Barclays LifeSkills. Some very special guests will be inspiring young people to see how confidence with numbers can build confidence with money. Throughout the week, we’ll share inspiring stories and expert insights from our celebrity Ambassadors Martin Lewis, Dr Linda Papadopoulos, Mr MoneyJar, Iona Bain, Denise Welch, Rachel Riley, and Bobby Seagull, alongside real-life experiences from the people we support, to show that everyone can improve their relationship with numbers. We’ll also explore why number confidence matters for individuals, workplaces, and communities. My sincere thanks to all our amazing supporters — including Headline Supporter Barclays LifeSkills, and Lead Supporters Capital One UK, Compare the Market, Experian, EY, TP ICAP and Vanquis – for their invaluable collaboration and commitment to improving number confidence nationwide. #NumberConfidenceWeek #NationalNumeracy #FinancialConfidence
