I’m excited to share a bit of what’s been going on behind the scenes at Rose Tuition over this past half-term. We made the decision to fully incorporate TutorCruncher into our systems and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it’s gone so far.
From day one, TutorCruncher has helped us revolutionise our scheduling and invoicing. What used to be a juggling act of spreadsheets, tutor availability, manual lesson scheduling and chasing invoices is now far more streamlined. The dashboard gives us clearer visibility of lessons, tutor availability, and invoicing workflows. With payment integration and automated invoicing; things that once took hours each week now take a fraction of the time. (And yes, the spreadsheet fatigue is real, so this feels like a big win!)
Better scheduling means fewer clashes or double-bookings, better transparency for the team, and a smoother experience for our tutors and students. Better invoicing means fewer delays, fewer chasing emails, and a healthier cash-flow. In short: more time to focus on what we care about most: Delivering excellent tuition.
Reflecting on our journey reminds me of the networking moments I had this summer. At The Tutors' Association awards evening in July, I was lucky enough to speak to many amazing peers in the tuition business world. The conversations were rich, generous and full of practical insights; in particular I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who recommended TutorCruncher (and shared your experiences with it). Your recommendations made all the difference.
Looking ahead: I’m very much looking forward to the upcoming National Tutors’ Conference 2025 #NTC25 next Wednesday 29th October. It’s going to be a brilliant opportunity to connect with more fellow tuition business leaders, exchange ideas and perhaps hear about other systems or tools that are game-changers in this space.
So here’s a question for my network: What other systems have you adopted in your tuition business that have made a real difference? Whether it’s software for tutor matching, CRM, online lesson delivery, payroll, analytics, I’d love to hear what you’re using and why it’s worked for you.
If you’re attending the National Tutors’ Conference #NTC25 next week, let’s connect! And if you’re reading this but not attending, I’d still love to hear your thoughts on tools & tech in our sector.
Thanks for reading – and here’s to working smarter, not just harder 😊
