With so many bills to take care of each month, it’s always a nice change to be able to consolidate a few into one by way of bundling. TV, internet and phone services are often bundled together to help customers save money, offer them more convenience through just one bill and one point of contact and can often be an easy way to customize a plan.

That said, finding the best bundle package for you takes some work. You need to decide which services you need, what your budget is and what your lifestyle and home priorities are. To help you narrow down your choices, we’ve analyzed eight major companies offering bundle services as well as 336 individual bundle plans, scoring them against 90 different attributes and including results of our national provider survey to inform the best internet providers that offer bundles with TV, cellular and home phone options.

Spectrum offers dozens of bundle options between internet, voice and TV. Besides its traditional internet service, you can receive a la carte or bundled TV options for an extra cost. Customers enjoy unlimited data for many plans, as well as up to 170 channels.

Learn more: Spectrum Internet review

Why We Picked It

Generally, you can expect to pay anywhere between $30 and $70 per month for internet during your first year, so adding TV to a bundle for a starting cost of $70 monthly means you can save money on these services by adding them together. We also appreciate that you don’t need a contract to get started.

Why We Like It

Spectrum offers service in at least 41 states, which means it’s likely you’ll be covered where you are. Also, we appreciate that you can choose to use your own internet equipment or rent one of Spectrum’s modems. Having access to 170 channels is a major perk to bundling TV with internet, and Spectrum regularly runs a promotion of one line of Unlimited Spectrum Mobile included for a year if you sign up for an internet plan.

What We Don’t Like

It’s important to note that Spectrum’s costs will go up after a year, as many other companies’ starting rates do. Also, speeds reach 1 Gbps max for internet, so if you plan to need more than that, this company may not be for you.

Who It’s Best For

If you want overall value for customization, Spectrum could be a good company to consider for bundling your internet, TV and/or voice.

Spectrum receives mixed reviews from its customers. On the positive side, many users highlight its reliable service and competitive pricing. On the other hand, negative feedback often points to frequent outages, unexpected price hikes and concerns about billing transparency.

We surveyed 2,200 people who had purchased home internet service within the past two years (including Spectrum customers) to understand overall satisfaction levels. Among Spectrum users, 83% said they found their internet service to be reliable. However, 44% reported that their monthly bill increased after the promotional period ended—one of the highest rates of post-promotion price hikes among all providers surveyed.

Pros & Cons

  • Unlimited data in most plans

Verizon Fios is a well-known mobile service and home internet provider offering bundle options with internet and either TV, home phone or mobile phone choices. Since Fios is a fiber internet option, you can expect your speeds to be fast and reliable. Those who enjoy Max or Disney+ will get even more out of bundling services with Verizon Fios, as you can get these platforms as part of your bundle, at least for the advertised period.

Learn more: Verizon Fios Internet review

Why We Picked It

If you’re already a Verizon customer, bundling your mobile and home internet services can lead to significant savings—up to $15 monthly. For example, this can lower the starting price of Verizon’s internet plans from $49.99 to just $34.99 in certain areas. While internet speeds and availability vary by location, customers in areas with access to Verizon’s top-tier plans can get excellent value, especially when combined with a mobile plan.

Why We Like It

We appreciate that no annual contract is required in any bundling plans, and many customer reviews mention long-term price guarantees, which puts Verizon Fios ahead of many competitors’ one-year acquisition pricing structure. Plus, you don’t have to pay for equipment for internet or a home phone line when signing up with Verizon Fios.

What We Don’t Like

Though Verizon Fios mobile service is available in many areas across the U.S., other services can be scarce, and only eight states have coverage for all three services (phone, internet and TV).

Who It’s Best For

Those who already have Verizon Fios as a mobile provider will find bundling to be very easy and help bring down the monthly cost of that mobile phone bill. Plus, you can expect extra-fast speeds thanks to its fiber network (which inevitably makes TV viewing an even clearer and crisper experience).

Why We Picked It

We appreciate Xfinity’s attention toward its bundles, specifically in the area of discounts. For example, bundling services can help customers save up to 40% on Apple TV+, Peacock and Netflix thanks to its StreamSaver deal. Its fast speeds (up to 1,200 Mbps) are also sweet for those who like to game or stream.

Why We Like It

Xfinity offers “storm-ready” Wi-Fi with cellular data and a backup battery, which could be a make-or-break feature depending on where you live. Also, we love that you don’t need a contract to get in on the savings. For around $130 monthly, for example, you can enjoy internet, TV and voice.

What We Don’t Like

Like many other companies, Xfinity’s introductory rates do increase after its 24-month acquisition period, and you’ll need to pay for rented equipment and professional installation.

Who It’s Best For

Xfinity is a great fit for customers in its widespread service area, especially those who are interested in bundling home security services with internet, TV or phone. It’s also ideal for gamers, remote workers and households with high bandwidth needs.

Additionally, 76% rated the service as reliable, showing that despite pricing concerns, most users are satisfied with their internet experience.

Known as one of the most popular internet and phone service options, AT&T is a fast internet provider (offering speeds as high as 5 Gbps) and provides budget-friendly bundle services. You can rent your own equipment or rent from the company, depending on what it is you plan to bundle. Plus, its services are available in over half the country.

Learn more: AT&T Internet review

Why We Picked It

We like that AT&T has lower-cost tier options for those who have a budget top of mind. The way the company does this is by offering both fiber and DSL hybrid options. It’s worth noting that if you do decide on a fiber plan, you’ll enjoy unlimited data and no contracts.

Why We Like It

With over 140 years of telecommunications experience, AT&T has built a robust infrastructure and a reputation for strong customer service. Users can access 24/7 support, live chat with real representatives and manage their accounts through a user-friendly mobile app.

What We Don’t Like

If you don’t have access to fiber internet, you may need to sign on to a contract. Fiber isn’t available in more than half U.S. states, so if you aren’t in that range and don’t want to sign a contract, AT&T internet, TV and phone bundles may not be for you.

Who It’s Best For

Those who are within AT&T’s fiber network and are looking for cheap options without sacrificing quality will enjoy the company’s bundle offerings.

Customer feedback on AT&T is mixed. Many users appreciate its affordable pricing and service options, but experiences with network reliability and customer support vary. When asked, 88% of customers reported satisfaction with pricing and contract transparency, while the same percentage was satisfied with the speed of their AT&T internet service. Additionally, 83% of respondents also said AT&T quickly resolved issues when they arose, highlighting the company’s strong customer support reputation.

Why We Picked It

Cox doesn’t require a contract, and you don’t have to pay any installation fees when choosing to set up internet or phone with the company.

Why We Like It

Cox has almost 700 offices across the U.S., which means it’s likely you’ll find a bundle plan in your area. You’ll receive special discounts if you also sign up for Cox Mobile as part of your bundle. Plus, if you opt for equipment rental, you can swap your gear for upgraded tech every three years.

What We Don’t Like

Bundle pricing can get steep quickly, with some plans topping $357. Bundle Features You Should Consider

Different TV, internet and phone bundles can attract different customers, though some are more universally important than others. Below are a few of such considerations to make before signing on with a specific company.

  • Discounts and savings: The major benefit to bundling services is receiving even a slight discount on each service versus if you had gotten them separately. A small perk like $20 off a monthly cellphone bill could be enough to decide to bundle.
  • Contracts: Four out of five of the companies that made our winners list don’t require a contract. It’s not the norm anymore to have to sign a contract, though you may find a company that does require it. It’s up to you to decide whether that’s a deal breaker or not.
  • Cable features: Do you plan to bundle cable into your deal? If so, do you have an idea of how many channels (or which channels) are important to you? It’s better to figure that out now before signing on with a provider that may or may not offer what you need.
  • Internet features: Do you stream, work from home or browse the internet regularly? You may want a high-speed internet connection, so that will inform the plans you end up considering.
  • Phone and voice features: If you plan to bundle mobile or landline phone services with your internet or cable service, you may be looking for features like unlimited domestic calling or other discounts. Make sure to ask each provider what they offer in this area to ensure your needs are met.

What Are the Benefits of Internet, TV and Phone Bundle Packages?

While having any of these services separately certainly serves any customer, bundling services together has a few specific advantages. As you research bundle providers on your own, you may notice some themes in their packaging, broken out into important aspects below:

  • Customization: Who doesn’t love a tailored fit? Each household has different needs and priorities, so bundling internet, TV and phone services can be of interest to those who want to ensure they’re only paying for exactly what they need.
  • Convenience: Instead of receiving three separate bills, you could receive just one by bundling your services together, making bill collecting more streamlined. Plus, you’ll be able to take care of all three services in a flash compared to logging into three separate websites just to make monthly payments. Lastly, if you ever need tech assistance or account management help, you have one point of contact versus three.
  • Discounts: It’s not always guaranteed, but many companies offer discounts to those who bundle services together versus if you paid for those services separately (and it makes sense to look for those that offer discounts on the types of plans you want). At minimum, you’ll see reduced rates during your promotional period.

Methodology - How We Selected the Best Internet Providers

To determine the best internet provider rankings, the Forbes Home editorial team compared 12 major providers across nearly 90 different metrics like company information, support, availability, plan price and services, setup, internet connection types offered, TV and streaming options, phone and voice options, our Consumer Sentiment Index and results from our National Provider Survey. You can find out more about how Forbes Home rates internet providers in our detailed methodology page.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can you save money by bundling TV and internet?

It can often be cheaper to bundle TV and internet together, but it ultimately depends on the service you’re signing up for. It’s crucial to check a la carte monthly costs after acquisition in order to properly determine whether you’ll save money by bundling the two together.

Should I bundle my TV, internet and phone services?

Whether you specifically should bundle your TV, internet and phone services depends on your priorities. Do you have all three and currently pay separately for them? There’s a chance your provider, or a new provider, can offer you a discounted rate by bundling all three, but it’s important to confirm before signing up. If you don’t use TV services as much as the other two, on the other hand, you may not find bundling all the services together to be worth it.

Can I watch my phone on my TV without internet service?

If you want to watch something on your phone on your TV without internet, you’ll need some sort of wired connection like an HDMI cable. Otherwise, you’ll need Wi-Fi to easily cast your phone’s screen to your TV.
