Fix recent cpluspluscheck issue in selfuncs.h.

Fix selfuncs.h cpluspluscheck complaint, without reintroducing a
parameter name inconsistency (restore the original declaration names,
and then make corresponding function definitions consistent with that).

Oversight in commit a601366.
