  • Late October, CEO Ryan Melsert met with Nasdaq's Michael Spector to discuss American Battery Technology Company’s progress since its Nasdaq uplisting. Our sincere thanks to the entire Nasdaq team for their ongoing support and partnership. The conversation highlighted the company’s significant advancements and strategic growth over the past two years: --The accelerated ramp-up and sustained operation of our first battery recycling facility, now consistently delivering hundreds of tons of critical mineral products each month and generating sustainable revenue. --The publication of our recent Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Tonopah Lithium Flats Project, outlining a robust development path for this valuable Nevada resource. --The successful manufacturing of battery-grade lithium hydroxide in the U.S. and directly from our own claystone at Tonopah Flats, demonstrating the viability of local resources for domestic supply chains. --Our recent EPA certification, which positions us to support large-scale decommissioning projects and further establishes our leadership in responsible battery recycling. --The expansion of strategic partnerships, including expansion of consumer batteries for recycling and strengthened collaborations with regulators and industry leaders. • We’ve announced our first quarter FY2026 financial results and have reported a substantial year-over-year revenue increase and secured a historic battery recycling contract with up to $30M in potential proceeds. This quarter, we achieved a major increase in cash balance, eliminated all outstanding debt and convertible notes, delivered key operational milestones, enhanced our commercial facilities, and celebrated several milestone commercial wins. These achievements position us for strong continued growth and leadership in domestic battery material supply chains. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gmnRkPCq

  • We are proud to share our role in the largest lithium-ion battery cleanup in U.S. history. With EPA CERCLA approval, our Nevada facility and expert teams are leading the safe handling, transportation, and recycling of damaged battery modules from a grid-scale energy storage system that took place in California. This project highlights the critical importance of advanced recycling infrastructure to manage damaged batteries responsibly and protect both human health and the environment. "This unprecedented cleanup effort highlights the critical importance of building and deploying advanced domestic critical mineral recycling infrastructure capable of addressing the growing challenges of managing damaged lithium-ion batteries in a safe and responsible manner," said Ryan Melsert, CEO of ABTC. “We are proud that we have established ABTC as one of the only recyclers in the Western US to be capable of receiving CERCLA materials, and that we have already been processing truckloads of CERCLA material from this project for the past several weeks. This effort is not just about safely recycling damaged batteries—it’s about answering President Trump’s call to action for implementing Immediate Measures to Increase American Mineral Production through demonstrating how U.S.-based infrastructure can rise to return these critical minerals back to the domestic manufacturing supply chain.” The EPA is overseeing the complex logistics of battery characterization, transportation, and delivery to ABTC's Nevada facility. The damaged batteries vary in condition, from intact units to severely compromised materials requiring immediate processing to ensure safety compliance. At current market prices, if ABTC were to process all of the battery materials from the site, the value of recycled products generated from these materials is estimated at approximately $30 million.
