We want Claude to take an even-handed approach when it comes to politics: treating opposing political viewpoints with equal depth and engagement, without bias towards one side or another. Today we’re open-sourcing an evaluation for testing Claude—or indeed any AI model—for political bias. In the post linked below, we describe the ideal behavior we want Claude to have in political discussions, and test a selection of AI models for even-handedness: https://lnkd.in/dKBDTns8

We disrupted a highly sophisticated AI-led espionage campaign. The attack targeted large tech companies, financial institutions, chemical manufacturing companies, and government agencies. We assess with high confidence that the threat actor was a Chinese state-sponsored group. We believe this is the first documented case of a large-scale AI cyberattack executed without substantial human intervention. It has significant implications for cybersecurity in the age of AI agents. Read more: https://lnkd.in/emARaJQY

For the first time, Anthropic is building its own AI infrastructure. We’re constructing custom-built data centers with Fluidstack in Texas and New York that will create thousands of good American jobs. This is a $50 billion investment in America. We’ll continue to prioritize capital-efficient investments in the infrastructure needed to ensure our models and capabilities remain at the frontier, and to support US leadership in artificial intelligence. We’re opening new offices in Paris and Munich. These offices will meet growing demand for Claude in EMEA, which is our fastest-growing region: our run-rate revenue here has grown more than ninefold in the past year. European businesses have become some of Claude’s most enthusiastic users. Germany and France both rank in the top 20 countries for Claude use on a per-capita basis. Companies like BMW, SAP, L'Oréal, and Sanofi are now using Claude, alongside digital-native innovators like N26, Pigment, Qonto, Doctolib, and Lovable. Next week, we’ll host founders and business leaders in Paris and Munich. We’re also deepening our commitment to creative and educational communities: we’re partnering with Unaite and TUM.ai on hackathons, and supporting a major exhibition in Berlin next year with Light Art Space. Our new offices in Paris and Munich expand our existing European presence in London, Dublin, and Zurich. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eXyXKBhG

We spoke to the team at Brex to find out how they use Claude Code. They told us that in Product AI, Claude Code allows engineers to trial out more approaches before deciding what to do. It has also allowed Brex's content designers to integrate their style guidelines across the company. And Brex's Data & Analytics team used Claude Code to build Brex Explorer, a text-to-SQL interface that makes data much easier to find. Read more about Claude Code and Brex: https://lnkd.in/eKW8pj4g
