Bank Five Nine (Community Bank)

Bank Five Nine has been named to the 2025 list of 'Best Banks to Work For' in the U.S by American Banker. This is the 9th straight year we’ve earned this recognition! A total of 90 banks across the country earned a spot in this year’s ranking and Bank Five Nine is one of only two Wisconsin banks to be recognized. According to the survey, the 90 banks that made the list emphasize strong leadership and long-term planning, effective communication and transparency and a corporate culture that prioritizes autonomy, employee appreciation and a clear understanding of the roles that everyone plays. To all Bank Five Nine employees: Thank you for your efforts in accomplishing this recognition for 9 straight years! This achievement belongs to each of you.

Our Germantown team enjoyed a beautiful day while participating in the Germantown Christmas Parade/Festival this past Saturday. The parade theme this year was “80’s Style” to commemorate the first parade in Germantown 40+ years ago! We were pleased to collected food and cash donations along the route to support the St Boniface Food Pantry once again this year!

Our President and CEO, Tim Schneider, hosts work anniversary luncheons (well, 'bankiversary luncheons' in our case because we are a bank! 🙂). These luncheons are specifically held to thank those who have a milestone anniversary during the month. Happy Bankiversay month to these awesome individuals and employees! We appreciate you!

We had a blast at the 2025 West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner! This year’s theme, “An Evening at the KenDucky Derby,” was full of fun Kentucky Derby–inspired outfits, duck races, and raffles - all while celebrating the incredible nominees and award winners. We were especially honored to have one of our own nominated for Chamber Volunteer of the Year! While the award didn’t come home, being recognized alongside so many amazing community volunteers was a win in itself. A big thank you to the WBACC Special Events Committee and staff for putting together such a fantastic evening and for all you do to support a thriving business community in West Bend. Bank Five Nine is proud to be an active Chamber member, attending events, networking, serving as Chamber Ambassadors, and participating in the Chamber’s Leadership program.

We enjoy long, quiet walks on the beach, puppies and romantic dinners. Nah, we’re too old for all that, but we’re still pretty cool, and we do actually love puppies.
