This is why you’re burning out your best reps, and how to avoid it 👇🏼 Your best closer never says no. They keep their calendar wide open, answer every ping, take every lead. Meanwhile, the rest of the team somehow stays "too busy" to take meetings. Most teams think round robin means "fair." But what really happens is: 1️⃣ SDR books into the rep they like, not the one who's next. 2️⃣ The next rep is on vacation. Or they're not free until Thursday, so the hot lead just... waits. 78% of deals go to whoever responds first. Respond in one minute? Conversions jump 391%. But in this scenario… three reps carry the entire load. Everyone else has empty calendars. Your top performers start updating their LinkedIn. So stop doing this manually. Route leads to whoever's actually free right now, not whoever's "supposed" to be next. Here’s how 👉🏼 https://lnkd.in/dXjMigj3

Marketing isn’t about perfection. It’s about momentum. We didn’t have a booth at Dreamforce. But I had one orange flag with the Chili Piper logo on it - so I thought, why not make a booth? It lasted 40 minutes before we got “notified”. 😀 That’s the thing about marketing → most best campaigns aren’t planned. As a marketer, stop asking “can we?” and start asking “why not?” What’s the worst that could happen if you try?

Hey, I'm Juan Jose Diaz 👋🏼 SDR at Chili Piper, taking over the account today, calling in from Madrid. Before tech sales, I spent years in advertising making animated stories for Meta, Adidas, and T-Mobile. Used to bring ideas to life on screen. Now I use that same creativity to show companies how to stop losing leads to bad forms and slow follow-ups. What I love about sales: every person I talk to has a story. Some worked in wild industries. Some built something from scratch. Some just have strong opinions about booking software. I'm not here to pitch… I'm here to figure out if our solution actually makes their life easier. At Chili Piper, that means helping revenue teams turn inbound interest into real conversations before the lead goes cold. We automate the boring stuff so the human part, the actual conversation, happens faster. Outside work, I'm chasing my bucket list! Skydiving, kitesurfing, Iron Man training, and hunting down the best coffee in Madrid. As a Colombian, this isn't optional.

Every omnichannel campaign ever. They saw your LinkedIn ad. Read your blog. Opened three emails. Clicked a retargeting ad. Then booked through a webinar link. So who gets credit? Everyone. No one. Depends who you ask. The best teams focus on what matters: Did the lead convert, and can we do it again?

Cold email isn't dead. Your cold email is dead. 🥴 By email 5, your reply rate drops to 3.8%. But your open rate? Still 38%. People are opening your emails, they're just not responding. Apple killed open rates as a useful metric. Gmail's spam filters got vicious. And every prospect's inbox looks like a cloning experiment, same subject lines, same "quick question," same everything. The companies still crushing outbound stopped playing the volume game: 👉🏼They use AI to generate actual relevance, not "congrats on your Series A" templates. 👉🏼They run omnichannel because people don't live in email. 👉🏼They route SQLs to instant bookings instead of form queues. 👉🏼 And they map entire buying committees, because Finance signs off even when Sales loves you. If your reply rates look like that chart, your strategy is broken. Not the channel. Michael Maximoff (Chief Growth Officer at Belkins) reveals how the top 10% are running outbound differently https://lnkd.in/eAeyX9Gp

Your best leads are browsing your pricing page at 11 PM, and nobody's home. We see this all the time. Sales leaders drop serious money on ads and SEO, then lose qualified buyers because their chatbot is basically useless after 6 PM. Or their SDRs are maxed out. Or both. Chat AI that knows your products, qualifies based on behavior (not just form fills), and books meetings with the right rep automatically. 2 AM or 2 PM, doesn't matter. The impact for your team: 👉🏼 Reps stop wasting cycles on tire-kickers. 👉🏼Your calendar fills with qualified meetings. 👉🏼You can shelve that "should we hire 3 more SDRs?" conversation. More pipeline. Same headcount. Waaay less revenue walking out the door. If you're already driving decent traffic, you don't need more leads. You need to convert the ones showing up. Hey, I’m Jenn Castillo 👋🏼, Principal of Channel Partnerships here at Chili Piper, tuning in from London, Ontario! If you know me, you know I’m a big believer that the future is partnerships. There’s just something magic about bringing two teams together, finding that spark, and building something that helps everyone win. That’s what I love most about what I do, spotting synergies, creating stories that connect, and turning a “we should collaborate” chat into real results. Outside of work, life’s been a whole new kind of adventure. I became a mom this past year (hi Sophia), and let’s just say the #Jennergy has officially leveled up with some serious #momergy. I’m also super passionate about championing women in tech and leadership, because we need more of us at the table. So if you want to chat partnerships, co-marketing ideas, or how to build connections that last, my DMs are open!

Why spend millions on ads to get more leads… when fixing the 2% → 5% conversion gap would give you 2.5x the pipeline overnight? Imagine you’re generating 1,000 MQLs every month. The team’s hustling, campaigns are working, the top of funnel is healthy. Only 2% of those leads become sales-qualified. That’s 20 SQLs. Now picture this: you tweak your process. Leads get routed instantly to the right rep. Hand-raisers are treated like VIPs, not stuck in a queue. No-shows get nudged with an easy rebook. Suddenly, your conversion rate jumps to 5%. That’s 50 SQLs from the same 1,000 MQLs. It doesn’t sound dramatic at first… until you realize you’ve more than doubled the number of qualified opportunities your sales team can work without spending a dollar more. That’s the magic of fixing demand conversion. Sometimes the biggest growth lever isn’t at the top or the bottom of the funnel. It’s right in the messy middle. This riff came from Principle #3 in our Demand Conversion guide. It’s from Mark Kosoglow, CRO at Docebo, one of 30+ revenue leaders who dropped gems in this playbook. 👉🏼 https://lnkd.in/dNyfx-DB

Here’s exactly how Reachdesk turned inbound bottlenecks into a 35% win rate. Most teams try to book more. They focused on booking better. Here’s how 👇 1️⃣ Tightening qualification rules. They stopped sending every inbound to sales. Leads were segmented by fit and readiness, so only real buyers made it through. 2️⃣ Automating routing. Using Chili Piper Handoff + Concierge, leads were instantly routed to the right AE. No round-robins, no manual follow-ups. 3️⃣ Nurturing instead of disqualifying. If an account wasn’t ready, it went straight into a nurture flow, not the bin. 4️⃣ Measuring what matters. Instead of lead volume, Ben’s team tracked win rate and disqualification rate. This led Ben Smith 💜 and his team to: → A +35% win rate → A –23% disqualification → 2000+ meetings in H1 2025 So, if you make it harder to create pipeline, you’ll actually close more of it. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ddGWZFVd
