Every customer interaction with an AI agent is a moment of truth, a reflection of our values and our commitment to doing right by the customer. In Cisco Customer Experience, AI agents interact with real customers regularly. They inform our responses to high-stakes questions. These agents aren’t just tools, they are extensions of our brand. Trust in AI isn’t something we can assume. It’s something we must design.    We are engineering trust into every layer of AI strategy and it starts with the one thing no intelligent agent can function without: clean, connected data.      🔹 We integrate hundreds of diverse datasets, including third-party data, to ensure full context.       🔹 We transform complex inputs (like CRM records and support tickets) into simplified formats so LLMs can reason more accurately.       🔹 We enrich unstructured data with context, structure, and metadata.       🔹 We unify all of it through a semantic data model that maps Cisco’s products and services, improving how agents “think” across the enterprise. When AI agents are trained on clean, connected, and contextual data, trust becomes more than an aspirational principle; it becomes a set product feature.  Curious about what comes next? I’ve shared a more complete piece on building trust in agentic as an article. ⬇️

One of the smartest things Cisco has done is… Last week Cisco hosted our partner Summit in San Diego with a few thousand of our top partners. I’ve been at Cisco for 5 years. But the first 18 months, I didn’t fully understand the power of our partner network. One of the smartest things Cisco has done is invested in building one of the world’s best partner ecosystem. The scale of distribution that our partners bring to Cisco is nothing short of remarkable, and is one of our great strategic differentiators. For years and years! As we enter into the Agentic Era of AI, the opportunity for Cisco and our partners is compounding materially. What’s unique about this relationship with our partners is that it is not at all transactional. It is deeply strategic. They not only help bring scale to Cisco in our distribution, but they bring a perspective that helps us get better as a company. At Cisco Partner Summit this year, we heard that this year was the best the partners had felt about Cisco in 20 years. We are lucky to have you all and we don’t take your commitment to Cisco lightly. Thank you again for who you are, what you do, how you push us to get better and most importantly obsess about making sure that OUR customers are wildly successful with Cisco technology. One of the categorically best decision that Cisco has made in the past 40 years is to bet on building the world’s best partner ecosystem. My commitment to each partner is to let you know that we will work tirelessly to make sure that choosing Cisco is the best decision you have all made as a company. Our best years are definitely ahead of us. It’s an exciting future and I wouldn’t pick a different group of people to be by our side in this journey. We are so lucky to have the world’s best partners helping us solve some of our customer’s most important problems in the AI Era. I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you and honored to call you our partners.
