  • The Connoisseur Media Bakersfield radio stations (KLLY-FM, KKBB-FM, and KNZR-AM/FM) have been sold to the local operator, Frequency Broadcasting, Inc. This strategic sale is a crucial step in our plan to concentrate operations on core markets where we can best execute our successful playbook. We are confident that Kait and Danny Hill of Frequency Broadcasting, who are local to Bakersfield, are the right operators for these stations. As CEO Jeff Warshaw noted, "We looked for a local operator... We are confident that we have found that in Frequency and the Hill family operation." The transaction is pending FCC approval and expected to close early next year.
