Hackley School's Allen Center for the Creative Arts and Technology — which was recently recognized by Engineering News-Record in its annual Regional Best Projects Awards — provides its campus community with a sustainable new state-of-the-art environment for creativity, innovation and cross-disciplinary learning. In addition to instructional spaces and flexible computer science classrooms, the Center is also equipped with a 550-seat auditorium, a 100-seat black box theater, a music academy with a recording studio, an art gallery, and band and orchestra rehearsal rooms to support the creative arts. Acoustic performance was prioritized, incorporating layered soundproofing, STC-rated doors and specialized flooring to ensure optimal sound quality and control throughout the five-story building. Achieving LEED Gold certification, the Allen Center incorporates a unique rainwater harvesting system that supports irrigation for the green roof — enhancing the campus ecosystem — and also functions as a sound-dampening feature for the theater. Hear from Project Executive Caren Amicone, General Superintendent Chuck Hunter and David Coon, who served as lead architect on the project before joining the Consigli team, as they share how our team integrated the new building within Hackley School's existing campus using shotcrete technology and extensive rock removal — all while minimizing disruptions for students and faculty. https://lnkd.in/eqgyyBtS #GenuineBuilders Pelli Clarke & Partners

The Alice Dodge Wallace ’38 Center for the Performing Arts at Emma Willard School has been recognized in the first-ever Architectural Record Awards as one of the best projects of the year! Through careful craftsmanship, Consigli maintained the 115-year-old Alumnae Chapel’s historic character by restoring its limestone façade, replacing its slate roof and the wood trusses that support its vaulted ceilings, and preserving its stained glass windows and one-of-a-kind baroque organ. Next to the chapel, a new subterranean arts wing – housed beneath an accessible green roof that blends seamlessly into the campus landscape – was created to expand resources for theater, music and dance. Congratulations to the project team on this achievement! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eWHc7Tet #GenuineBuilders Annum Architects (Formerly Ann Beha Architects) Acentech

Successful campus construction starts with strong partnerships. Long-term collaboration between independent schools, architects, and construction managers ensures continuity, aligns projects with educational goals, and delivers lasting impact. TABS’ own Susan Baldridge sat down with Matthew Consigli, President of Consigli Construction Co., Inc., and John Packard, Brooks School Head of School, to discuss what great partnerships are all about. Each year, the Consigli Learning Conference brings our people together for two days dedicated to learning, connection and collaboration. Through interactive exhibits, engaging breakout sessions and updates from our leadership team – including CEO Anthony Consigli, who shared lessons on our #GenuineBuilders culture – employees from every region are provided with hands-on opportunities for development. This year’s event also featured a special moment: President Matthew Consigli sat down with Scott "Kidd" Poteet – retired U.S. Air Force Thunderbird pilot and Polaris Dawn mission pilot – for a live conversation for The Bootprint Podcast, our internal series celebrating leadership and the people shaping Consigli’s culture. Their conversation on trust, leadership and performance under pressure captured what this conference is all about: challenging ourselves to grow while strengthening the shared values that guide everything we build.

"We get to see a place where students can learn, discover, create, test, prototype, and bring their ideas to life in brand new ways. This is going to be a place where our students can take their what-ifs and turn them into a what's next."- Joe Shelley, Vice President for Innovation and Information Services Earlier this month, Consigli Construction Co., Inc. hosted a topping-off ceremony to celebrate reaching the highest point of the Innovation Center. During the event, the team placed the final structural beam, shared construction updates, and invited donors and Board members to sign the beam.
