  • Kindness has a ripple effect, and today on World Kindness Day, we’re celebrating how our teams are making waves of good across the country through Eurest Cares. From volunteering with Ace’s Place Dog Rescue and supporting a local creamery in Fort Worth,TX to our Mid-Atlantic team providing 82 Thanksgiving boxes to families in need, giving back is part of who we are. Even our new Sum>One coffee program includes connection cards for people to write kind notes to share over a cup of coffee. It’s cool to be kind. Chef Evan Parker and the Strato 550 team turned up the heat at Houston’s RARE Steak Competition showcasing the same creativity and skill that make us a cut above while competing alongside more than 30 of the city’s top steakhouses. This event celebrated Houston’s creative culinary scene and the talent that drives it. Supporting Chef Parker were Chef Victoria Cloud, Chef Christopher C, Chef Markcus Matthews, Erin Pritchard, Iranzi Jacques, and Ashley Keiter. Our teams continue to raise the bar, proving that the chefs leading our corporate kitchens bring the same competitive skill and creativity seen across Houston’s top restaurants.

  • Thank you to our veterans for your service and selfless sacrifice. We don't take what you gave to our country for granted. We honor and salute you today. We want to give a special shoutout to the veterans in our Eurest family. We're grateful to have you on our team and we remain committed to supporting you. It's why we participate in programs like SkillBridge, which helps service members prepare for civilian careers through on-the-job training and mentorship. Through the Department of Defense's SkillBridge program, veterans are finding new opportunities to grow in partnering with Eurest, including Chef Tenzin Choegoyab (pictured), a former U.S. Air Force Superintendent now building his next chapter in the kitchen. • We believe in the power of community. It's why we've invested in creating a platform where our teams can connect, share ideas and cheer each other on, from coast to coast. Director of Engagement and Insights Alison Lambert led a major project to give our employee engagement app, Nudge+, a boost. It now includes more learning and recognition opportunities and important manager insights to help our team members be their best. Listen as Alison shares her passion behind the project, helping our teams get the most of our their minutes online every day.

  • In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our teams wore pink hats designed by our women-owned uniform partner, NewChef, and created retail displays to raise awareness and support those who have battled this illness. This month, we partnered with Nassau Candy to raise money to benefit the Pretty in Pink Foundation, donating 20% of proceeds from sales of Dear Snacker “No One Fights Alone” items. Together, we’re honoring strength, compassion, and the power of community in the fight against breast cancer. #breastcancerawareness

  • The 2025 Compass Night of Stars was a night to remember, bringing together Compass Group team members from every sector to celebrate the people who make us uniquely the best for our clients, our industry and our teams. Held at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, the evening sparkled with excitement as honorees walked the red carpet and were recognized for their incredible achievements. Earlier in the day, our winners enjoyed a VIP tour of Disney Parks, spa experiences, fly fishing or kayaking. Between Eurest and ESFM, 12 exceptional team members were honored, including four frontline hourly team members and three national Compass Group award recipients we are especially proud of. Award gala guests enjoyed live performances, inspiring stories, and moments that captured the true spirit of hospitality. A standout highlight came from Spyros Gravis, VPO in the West Division, who performed a piano medley inspired by music that influenced who he is as a musician - beyond his role as a foodservice leader. He even included a nod to his Greek heritage and earned a standing ovation. The atmosphere was filled with energy, gratitude, and pride as colleagues from across the country came together to celebrate one another. Congratulations again to our winners!

This is a story you don't want to miss! It's one we're proud to share in recognition of World Restart a Heart Day. One life-changing moment turned into an empowering life-saving movement across Eurest, resulting in more than 1,000 managers completing CPR training and five lives saved. This commitment to safety and preparedness began after National Accounts Division President Thomas Teves survived a choking incident in 2022 that left him without oxygen and a heartbeat for 15 minutes. Join us in celebrating the heroes who accepted to call to become CPR certified and put their skills to use when people needed life-saving help.
