    AI x Insurance | CEO, FurtherAI (a16z, YC) | 2X Founder, Microsoft

Excited to host a fireside chat with Brad Craner, Zurich North America. Brad’s one of the few leaders who’s seen insurance from every angle: ↳ Started as an underwriter ↳ Ran strategy and distribution at scale ↳ Now leads operations for Zurich Specialty That experience gives him a grounded view of where AI actually moves the needle — and where it doesn’t. Every time I talk to Brad, I get tons of insights. In our prep call, he said something that stuck with me: “𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.” Simple idea. But it changes how you design systems, how you earn trust, and how you drive adoption inside large carriers. This is going to be a great chat - excited! If you’re attending the Intelligent Insurer event this week in NY — would love to meet.

  • Inside FurtherAI, every recommendation comes with context built for insurance. For insurance teams, this means every extracted field, comparison, and recommendation comes with transparent reliability — so you know exactly where automation can be trusted and where human review is needed. This matters because underwriting, claims, and compliance decisions depend on accuracy. Even a small extraction error can create rework, slow down quoting, or introduce compliance risk. Built for insurance workflows, Confidence Scores give teams the clarity they need to automate safely and move faster with confidence. Want to see it in action? Let's talk!

It’s been one month since we announced that FurtherAI raised a $25M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz! 🎉 You see funding announcements on LinkedIn all the time, the splashy videos, the perfect headlines, but rarely what it actually takes to make one happen. Here’s a little BTS. Because our team is based in San Francisco, we started at 3 AM to align with an 8 AM EST launch. From there, it was 12+ hours of publishing, monitoring, and coordinating across teams (s/o to everyone at FurtherAI). A month of planning condensed into a single day. The truth about early-stage marketing is that nothing ever goes exactly as planned. It’s not about perfection; it’s about pace, judgment, and adaptability: Staying calm under pressure. Solving quickly. Moving forward. Somewhere between the 3 AM coffee and the NASDAQ post going live, it hit me: This was one of those rare moments where every late night and last-minute edit comes together for something bigger than you :') I’m grateful to work with a team that moves fast, trusts deeply, and builds with intention. If you’re someone who thrives in that kind of environment, we’re hiring — and if you’re a marketer who loves to build, I’d love to talk. Cheers to all of the marketing professionals at early stage companies, this post is for you! 💚

  • Our CTO, Sashank, was invited by Y Combinator to speak at Agent Day, joining AI builders from Juicebox, Domu, and Latent, on what it takes to move AI from demo to production. At FurtherAI, we’re building long-running, reliable AI systems that automate repetitive work and operate predictably at scale. Our approach to reliability in applied AI is grounded in a few core principles: Systems that improve as models evolve. ↳ Upgrades should make systems better, not brittle. Continuous, automated refinement ↳ Prompts and workflows improve through usage and feedback. A clear human–AI interaction layer ↳ The system knows when to ask for input and when to run autonomously. Full inspection and auditability. ↳ Every output is traceable back to its data and reasoning steps. That same engineering discipline defines how we build at FurtherAI—production-grade AI systems used by real companies every day. If you’re an engineer who wants to work on systems that last, we’re hiring!
