Last Wednesday, we were at the first-of-its-kind New Jersey Youth Sports Conference alongside the New York Football Giants, New York Jets, New Jersey Devils, New York Sirens, and New York Red Bulls. Our Community/Social Impact Team, Corinne Counsell and Emma Walley, presented about #GothamFC Impact initiatives from Keep Her in the Game, presented by Dove, to Elevate Play! We were joined by our partners at the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, Playworks, and New Jersey Youth Soccer. All conference attendees walked away with a Gotham Changing the Game: A Playbook for Champions in Training Rebel Girls book! Thanks to the New Jersey Devils Youth Foundation for organizing and hosting us at the Prudential Center, and here's to more collective action across New Jersey to increase youth sports participation — and keeping youth in the game through joy and connection. Tisch Illumination Fund and Playworks NY/NJ #GothamFC is elevating the power of play for NJ/NY kids through a first-of-its kind program supported by founding philanthropic partner the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund Together, we will provide 10,000 participants access to Gotham FC matches in 2026 and impact 10,000 youth through play-based educational trainings across area schools and community-based organizations.
