I’m very grateful for the opportunity to have attended the North American Power Symposium in Hartford! I’m also extremely grateful for Dr. Mostafa Ardakani taking a chance on me as an undergraduate student. Our paper on how to innovate Demand Response design using psychological tools will officially be published to the IEEE explorer! I will be continuing this work next spring and hopefully the rest of my undergraduate. If anyone is in the power industry or any related field, I would love to connect and share ideas!

Our Reno team came together this past weekend for Safety Saturday — where we learn, refresh, and refocus on what matters most: going home safe every day. I had the opportunity to attend the Project Engineer Foundations Event hosted by Helix Electric at our Goodyear, AZ office. Helix has always been big on training and development, and this event really showed that commitment. We spent time learning, collaborating, and gaining a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be Team Helix, a group built on teamwork, integrity, and excellence. It was great connecting and bonding with fellow engineers from different regions, all working toward the same goal of building better together. Big thanks to everyone who made this event possible, definitely walked away with new insight and motivation to keep pushing forward. Proud to be part of a company that truly invests in its people.
