Just two months after engine integration, we’ve integrated the tail and wings on our Quarterhorse Mk 2 vehicle. The curvature of Mk 2's wings helps control shock formation across the wing and its control surfaces, stabilizing the aircraft's transition into supersonic. The tail, assembled at our LA facility, is tuned for stability and controllability at high and low speeds alike. The build continues... fast planes fast.

About us
Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer focused on the rapid design, build, and test of high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft for the national interest. Working directly with the Department of Defense, Hermeus delivers capabilities that will ensure that our nation, and our allies, maintain an asymmetric advantage over any and all potential adversaries. Utilizing an integrated, hardware-rich, iterative development approach to aircraft design and build, Hermeus aims to deliver advanced air power at a pace not seen in the U.S. since the 1950s. Hermeus’ current Quarterhorse Program is actively unlocking unmanned high-speed flight. One program, four aircraft – each purpose-built to unlock a specific technical challenge, advance learnings, and incrementally de-risk critical technology in the pursuit of hypersonic aircraft. America needs fast planes fast – and Hermeus is delivering them.

It was a pleasure connecting with our partners Jessica Villardi and Steve Shepro at Pratt & Whitney, an RTX company, during last week's AFA Air, Space, and Cyber Conference! Their iconic F100 engine is powering Hermeus’ Quarterhorse Mk 2 aircraft (actively being built at our Atlanta Factory), taking us to supersonic speeds.

Hermeus builds fast, tests fast, and delivers fast. Our iterative development approach is redefining the pace of U.S. aircraft development. We’ll be at the AFA Air, Space & Cyber Conference Sept. 22-24th to discuss how our approach unlocks critical technologies in support of the American warfighter. Come visit us at booth 335.
