Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day Jewel-Osco proudly joined the Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony at Soldier Field to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. As part of this meaningful day, the Jewel-Osco Foundation presented a $10K grant to Naperville-based Operation Support Our Troops-America to help fund their Holiday Stocking Program, a heartfelt initiative that sends care packages to deployed service members. This contribution reflects our deep gratitude and ongoing commitment to those who protect our freedoms. We’re honored to support Operation Support Our Troops in their mission to bring comfort and cheer to our troops abroad. Shelly Selof has accepted the developmental assignment of eCom Ops Specialist. Shelly began her career at Jewel-Osco in 2014 as a part-time Bakery Clerk at the Crystal Lake store. After working through roles of increasing responsibility in the Bakery, Shelly was promoted to Bakery Manager in 2017 at the Cary store. Shelly left to pursue other opportunities in 2019 before returning as a Bakery Manager in 2021 at the 3485 Lake Zurich store. To further enhance her career and knowledge, Shelly joined the Grocery Manager Training Program in 2023 at the Wauconda store before becoming a Grocery Manager. In 2024 Shelly was promoted to Assistant Store Director at the Cary store before moving to 3478 Arlington Heights, her most recent assignment. #Congrats #PrideInYourPath #JewelOsco
