On today's cover: Khaite Kool — Catherine Holstein brought KHAITE's showgoers to The Shed (NY) in Hudson Yards, which was dominated by an angular runway and ink-black pool filled with icy gray structures resembling "broken up glaciers." It was all part of her idea of being "comfortable in being uncomfortable" - but who wouldn't fell confident in her steller lineup of leather jackets and skirts, denim and chunky knits? Last month the Judd Foundation hosted their 2025 Benefit Dinner supported by KHAITE. Just blocks from KHAITE’s SoHo flagship, Rainer and Flavin Judd welcomed attendees to 101 Spring Street for an aperitivo and intimate dinner by Rita Sodi and Jodi Williams. Guests included Michelle Williams, Amanda Seyfried, Brady Corbet, Mona Fastvold, Fran Lebowitz, Sofia Coppola, and Anna Weyant. KHAITE signatures evolve through heightened tactility, thoughtful manipulation of material, and the juxtaposition of raw and refined, lightness and gravity. The collection debuted on Saturday night at New York’s Park Avenue Armory on an elevated, ochre-hued round runway inspired by The Wizard of Oz (a Lynchian obsession) and designed by Griffin Frazen.
