  • Many veterans play an important role in our mission to create healthier communities. Today, on Veterans Day, we paused to pay tribute to these valued Memorial Hermann employees through special flag ceremonies and events at our campus locations across Houston. We salute these veterans for extending their dedication, courage and service beyond their military service to make a positive impact on our organization and in our communities. We thank them—and all veterans nationwide—for their service.

  • Congratulations to the 2025 Good Samaritan Excellence in Nursing Award winners and nominees from Memorial Hermann. This year, 248 Memorial Hermann nurses were recognized—246 Bronze award recipients and two Silver award recipients—for their commitment to promoting excellence in nursing from education to practice. Each individual was nominated by their Memorial Hermann peers. We recently celebrated our Silver award recipients, Brian Hoffpauir and Lalita Thompson, at the Good Samarian Luncheon with Memorial Hermann leaders.
