Today, OGR had the privilege of welcoming the leadership team of House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) for an insightful session with our clients and friends. The discussion provided timely perspectives on the ongoing federal government shutdown and explored potential legislative priorities and strategies for when government operations re-open. We extend our sincere gratitude to Annie Brody and Robert Boland for their invaluable contributions, expertise, and time. #FederalGovernment #GovernmentShutdown #LegislativePriorities #PolicyDiscussion #OGR #LeadershipInsights

We loved having Elizabeth Artigliere with us this Spring! Her passion and dedication were a huge asset to the OGR team. Thanks for sharing your experience, Elizabeth. We're so proud of all you accomplished and excited to see what you do next. #internship #governmentrelations #OGR
As my spring internship with OGR comes to a close, I’m reflecting on how much I’ve learned from such a passionate and dedicated team. Throughout the semester, I had the chance to monitor media coverage and congressional hearings relevant to client interests, compiling press clips and policy summaries that supported lobbying efforts. What stood out most about this experience was the opportunity to learn directly from the principals at OGR. Whether I was receiving feedback on a memo or sitting in on discussions, their openness and willingness to teach made a lasting impression on me. Those one-on-one conversations helped me connect the dots between day-to-day tasks and the broader goals of public affairs work. Thank you to the entire OGR team for your generosity and guidance. This experience has truly deepened my interest in public policy and international affairs, and I’m leaving with encouragement and excitement for what comes next.

OGR was proud to partner with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) for their Annual Legislative Summit yesterday. Since 2014, We've helped USHCC members drive impactful conversations with Representatives, Senators, and their staff on Capitol Hill, focusing on critical policy issues affecting Hispanic-owned small businesses, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting equitable economic growth. We commend the USHCC's unwavering advocacy, and we look forward to continued collaboration in advancing these important priorities. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated Hill staffers whose collaboration was instrumental in making this a successful day. #USHCC #HillDay #Advocacy #HispanicBusiness #EconomicGrowth #PolicyEngagement #OGR

It was great to spend some time with my good friend, Meghan Henning, on her The Association 100 podcast sharing insights on effective advocacy strategies for associations. My advice can be summed up simply by doing your homework and know who you’re talking to. Make a personal connection and try to understand their perspective when you don’t agree. This is probably good advice no matter what career you’re in but especially in advocacy. Thank you for having me! #advocacy #lobbying #associations #politics OGR
