ParetoHealth welcomes Lyra Health to the Pareto Savings Engine Mental health is one of the most urgent and costly areas for employers today. That's why we're excited to announce that Lyra Health is now available to ParetoHealth Members through the Pareto Savings Engine. This collaboration expands access to high-quality mental health care for more than 3,500 employers and 1.2 million people, giving small and midsize businesses benefits once limited to large enterprises. Most small and midsize employers lack the scale to offer the same mental health benefits available at large companies. The Pareto community’s scale enables us to offer Lyra to close that gap and expand access to world-class mental health care. This makes mental health care benefits that were once out of reach for small and midsize businesses not only possible but simple. Here’s what this collaboration means for Pareto Members and their employees: ✅ Real outcomes: 90% of Lyra members improve or recover ✅ Lower costs: Fewer high-cost claims like ER visits and hospital stays ✅ Fast access: Employees can typically see a qualified provider within one day ✅ Healthier teams: Employees are more resilient and stay engaged Together, Pareto and Lyra are committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible for every employer and their employees. 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gPaF_xxw #MentalHealth #EmployeeBenefits #ParetoHealth #ParetoSavingsEngine #RightSideOfTheFight #LyraHealth

💊 For many employers, one in four healthcare dollars is spent on pharmacy. At ParetoHealth, we leverage our scale to help employers immediately lower pharmacy spend. With the buying power of our community, Pareto Rx Consortium (PRxC) secures best-in-class pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) terms for our Members. This leads to lower costs for employers and reduced out-of-pocket prescription drug expenses for employees. PRxC is led by an integrated team of in-house pharmacists, a clinical advisory board, pharmacy consultants, and analytics experts working together to deliver: 🔹 PBM contracting and audited performance guarantees 🔹 Pharmacy plan design and management 🔹 Prior authorization and large-claim review 👉 Case study: $120,000 in annual pharmacy savings A PRxC plan participant was prescribed a high-cost brand-name drug for multiple sclerosis costing $124,000 annually. The Pareto in-house pharmacy team proactively identified a clinically effective, lower-cost generic alternative at just $3,636 per year. Working with the provider to approve the switch, the Pareto team helped the employer save $120,000 annually. When specialty drugs drive outsized costs, small changes can shift the trajectory of your entire plan. #PharmacySavings #SelfInsurance #CostContainment #ParetoHealth #BenefitsStrategy

How are midsize employers moving from traditional insurance to self-insurance with ParetoHealth? When you're on a traditional fully insured health plan, your fixed costs are high and you’re blind to what’s driving your claims. Traditional insurers bundle medical, pharmacy, and stop-loss into a one-size-fits-all package, and you pay a steep premium for this service. Going self-funded with Pareto enables employers to offer similar healthcare benefits at lower fixed costs with full transparency into your medical and pharmacy claims data so you can stop being reactive and start building a long-term strategic plan. In our Stop-Loss Simplified series, Peter Doran and 🎙Spencer Smith, CSFS® explain why more midsize employers are choosing self-funding with Pareto to lower fixed costs, gain claims transparency to inform strategic decisions, and unlock savings potential. 🎥 Watch the full video (link in comments) to see how the self-funding components come together: ✔️ Third party administrator (TPA) processes your medical claims ✔️ Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) processes your pharmacy claims ✔️ Stop-loss carrier caps your liability to catastrophic claims #SelfInsurance #StopLoss #TPA #PBM #HealthBenefits #ParetoHealth #RightSideoftheFight

🎉 Congratulations to Doug Morgan and McConnell & Associates! Back in 2013, Doug saw the potential and made the strategic move to leave the traditional fully insured model behind and join the ParetoHealth community. Since then: ✅ Hundreds of thousands saved ✅ Predictable, stable costs ✅ Full claims transparency for strategic decision-making ✅ No more carrier churn ✅ A turnkey implementation that worked smoothly for HR and Finance And the best part? More than a decade of stability and healthcare spend savings. Doug’s story is a powerful example of what’s possible when organizations shift from a reactive to proactive approach. 💊 Pharmacy costs are exploding, now reaching 25-30% of total healthcare spend for some employers. Specialty drugs are driving this trend. They account for just 2% of prescriptions yet consume nearly half of every pharmacy dollar. And the problem is only accelerating. PwC projects pharmacy cost trend to be 2.5 points higher than overall medical trend in 2026. Without the right controls in place, those numbers will climb year after year. That’s why we built the ParetoHealth Rx Consortium (PRxC). We leverage our community’s scale to secure the industry’s best terms, helping our Members reduce prescription drug spend. ✅ Transparent, 100% pass-through contracts with trusted PBMs ✅ Accuracy and accountability with every pharmacy claim ✅ Support for prior authorizations, large claim reviews, and formulary management With PRxC, small and midsize employers gain transparency, accuracy, and support, delivering savings for the business and access to affordable medications for their people. #HealthcareCosts #PharmacyBenefits #SmallBusiness #MidMarketEmployers #BenefitsStrategy #CostControl

📈 Understanding the stair-step effect in traditional health insurance If you’re a small or midsize employer on a traditional fully insured plan, you’ve seen it: premiums rising year after year, even when you have a "good year." That’s the stair-step effect: 🔹 Each renewal becomes the new baseline 🔹 Flexibility and predictability shrink 🔹 Small increases compound into significant long-term cost It’s a pattern that’s easy to miss in the moment but costly over time. In our Stop-Loss Simplified series, 🎙Spencer Smith, CSFS® and Peter Doran discuss how to think differently about risk, protection, and funding. 🎥 Click the link in the comments to watch the full conversation. #StairStepEffect #EmployeeBenefits #ParetoHealth #HealthcareStrategy #RightSideOfTheFight
