    "What’s it like working with your brother?", "You work with your dad?!" I get these questions a lot. At Popl, I work with both my brother and my dad, and it’s been one of the most meaningful parts of the journey. Here’s what working with a family member is really like: - Trust is on another level. You can trust family with anything. No hesitation, no second-guessing. - You can be very direct. There’s so much history and context that you can push harder and know it’ll land the right way. I even joke with my dad that if he only threatens to quit once in a week, it’s been a good week :) - Your family often sees the bigger picture. They don’t get stuck in the small stuff, they have a bigger perspective. Life, it's bigger. - Less ego, more mission. A family member isn’t here for politics or titles. They’re here because they genuinely want to win, and win together. - There’s no strict work/life line — it all blends. Dinner, workouts, phone calls… conversations move between personal and work naturally and effortlessly. If you love what you do, this one is beautifully. I know not every family dynamic makes this possible, but if you’re fortunate enough to have a family member(s) you enjoy working with, and you get the chance to build something meaningful together — do it.

    🚀 Last month was a record breaking month for me at Popl & likely among anyone in Saas. And i'm damn proud. 🤯 I booked 161 demos from pure cold outbound and my team of 6 booked a total of 365. Leveraging the best channel mankind has ever known, in person events! Every single demo I booked, I shook their hand, looked them in the eyes, and shared a 5-10 minute connection. ❓ You may ask, how is this possible, a few things make is possible: 1. 🤝 In person connection >> that is the mission we are on at Popl & it lets your book rate go up from 1% of cold calls to 10-33% of in person interactions. 2. 🐾 I hustled a 4 weeks of back to back conferences straight for 88 hours on my feet on the conference floor, 🗓️ 12 days of conferences, and an additional 40 hrs in planes, trains and automobiles ✈️ 🚉 🚗 . 3. Of course, I leveraged Popl, the most efficient way to take a handshake & turn it into revenue...full stop 🤑 I'm going on week 9 of back to back travel for conferences & Popl but I do it because I'm passionate about our product & mission and I want to ensure Popl wins. We are changing the game for outbound pipeline, in-person has always been the best channel but now we are revolutionizing its impact at scale & my team is setting the bar.     Just wrapped an incredible week in Vegas at #SEMA25, one of the biggest conferences in the country. 60,000+ steps. Countless conversations. 35+ demos booked. I couldn’t be more proud to rep a product that truly shines on the show floor. Popl is solving one of the biggest pain points in event marketing — the outdated, clunky lead capture process. The best part? I actually got to enjoy my weekend post-event. No spreadsheets. No chaos. Every lead I captured was instantly in my CRM, and I was already following up during the event instead of waiting until next week. Popl is changing how teams connect, follow up, and close deals.     Well folks, it's clearly CONFERENCE SEASON ✈️ . Check out this data... Now that Popl powers lead capture and badge scanning for thousands of companies, we get a front-row view of when the conference world is quiet and when it comes alive. You can clearly see the summer lull, followed by a sharp ramp into the end-of-year conference wave. And honestly, watching product usage hit new highs is one of the most rewarding parts of this journey — sometimes even more so than revenue growth. When teams in the field are actually using and loving what you build, it's an awesome feeling.

    Our SDR team has booked 2,612 demos from conferences in 2025. What’s wild is that they’ve made this possible with just an SDR team of 6. Not only are they some of the hungriest SDR’s I’ve ever met. But they also built a system that makes lead capture at conferences insanely efficient. That way they can run back-to-back conversations without dropping the ball.
