When you put Aaron P., Joseph Perticone of The Bulwark and Jayme Leagh Franklin of The Conservateur on a panel alongside our reputation management and media expert Jaclyn Rothenberg, an insightful conversation is bound to unfold. Together, they explored how media, influence and credibility are evolving in a creator-driven world. Here are just a few standout perspectives from the discussion: 👉 Relationships Drive Results. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Every creator connects differently, and you have to know them to know what works. 👉 Credibility Comes from Listening. Influence starts with understanding what your audience cares about, and being honest when you get it wrong. 👉 Connection Builds Trust. Podcasts, short videos and real conversations – creators are redefining how we get and trust information. A big thank-you to our panelists for sharing their perspectives! What happens when today’s most influential voices meet tomorrow’s biggest ideas? Last night, we hosted a private gathering bringing together news influencers, independent journalists and leading organizations at the intersection of business, policy and culture. Featuring our own Jaclyn Rothenberg, Aaron P., Joseph Perticone of The Bulwark and Jayme Leagh Franklin of The Conservateur, the discussion explored how credibility, trust and influence are being redefined in today’s fragmented media landscape. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. The ideas exchanged reminded us just how dynamic the future of media and engagement truly is.

Avoq’s GOP Team was grateful to host the Majority Whip’s senior leadership staff, Robert Boland, Annie Brody and Ian Foley, for a discussion with our clients on government funding and other key issues shaping Washington. Their insights are incredibly valuable to understand the state of play in Washington and to help clients navigate the political and policymaking landscape. Special thanks to our team of Whitaker Askew, Natalie Farr Harrison, Bryce Harlow, Caitlin C., Rebecca Shaw and Lindsey Seidman for facilitating these important conversations.

Leaders today operate in the reputation arena, where business, policy and culture collide and every decision is under public scrutiny. This week in Austin, we were proud to sponsor a session at a Mixing Board, powered by Axios event and have our own Andrea Hagelgans join a powerhouse panel alongside Jennifer Haslip (Gilead) and Eric Porterfield (Roblox), moderated by Kerry Flynn (Axios). The discussion explored how leaders can prepare for reputational risks beyond their control and turn potential crises into opportunities to build trust and loyalty.

We’re proud to partner with the National Down Syndrome Society on the launch of CARE Down Syndrome, a new clinical education hub helping healthcare professionals deliver better care for adults with Down syndrome. Our team helped bring the program to life through creative strategy, video production and a national media tour featuring NDSS self-advocates, caregivers and healthcare partners. It has been an honor to help share the voices of adults with Down syndrome and the medical professionals working to ensure they receive the respectful, informed care. Learn more at CAREDS.org and NDSS.org
NDSS is proud to launch CARE Down Syndrome: 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀. Developed in collaboration with partners like Brian Chicoine, 𝘔𝘋 from Advocate Health Care, CARE Down Syndrome gives healthcare professionals the tools they need to deliver more informed and confident care for adults with Down syndrome. 🩺 CARE Down Syndrome has been reviewed and endorsed by the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group-USA (DSMIG-USA) and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD) and would not be possible without the generous contributions of the Linda and Mike Mussallem Foundation. While CARE is for healthcare professionals looking to expand their knowledge, families can help close the gap in access to high quality healthcare by sharing this resource with your loved one’s doctor! In public health, every move matters. The right words, the right partnerships and the right focus can mean the difference between standing still and making real progress. In a new op-ed for O'Dwyer's Public Relations News, Joy Cameron Burks, Sarah Hamilton and Susan Spencer share how leaders can sharpen their purpose, stay focused on results and keep communities’ trust. Their bottom line: small wins add up, strong voices matter and no one succeeds alone. Read the full piece: https://lnkd.in/efSnSB-J

Most people read earnings reports for business insights. Smart policy strategists read them to decode policy signals. Corporate earnings show how government actions ripple through the economy from trade and tax policy to regulation and spending. They don’t just show what’s happening now. They forecast what’s next. Avoq’s Government Relations team is driven to think this way on behalf of clients. See our insights on how to turn earnings reports into a real-time window on policy trends: https://lnkd.in/ePbhnwgi

Our Health Policy team joined the STAT Summit to explore how innovation, regulation and access intersect. Read Caitlin's recap below and get in touch to learn how we help organizations stay ahead in this evolving biotech landscape: https://lnkd.in/g_Z-wMy6
In D.C. policy circles, we often talk about the monumental moment we are living in for biotechnology innovation, with breakthroughs in immunotherapy, gene editing and AI transforming what is possible. Hearing from executives, physicians, scientists and patients at the STAT Summit gave me hope that cures and therapies for many debilitating and often fatal diseases are on the horizon. It was also a reminder that science and technology often move faster than regulation and policy. The summit was an incredible opportunity for our Avōq Health Policy team (shout out to my teammates Lindsey Seidman and Sandra Alcala, PhD) to learn about these advances and think ahead about how our clients and partners can meet the moment, shaping policies that promote access and affordability while fostering an environment that drives innovation. The star of show was undeniably baby KJ, the world’s first patient treated with CRISPR gene editing therapy. #STATSummit #BiotechInnovation #HealthPolicy #GeneEditing #CRISPR
