Union City Family unites for a Meaningful Thanksgiving Gathering! A special Thanksgiving Luncheon was held for Union City staff last Friday at The Gathering Place. The event had a delicious spread that captured the spirit of the season. Special thanks to Mayor, Council, and City leadership for joining us and lending a helping hand! Additionally, staff had the opportunity to win prizes through a guessing game about a close-up location in Union City. The challenge invited friendly competition and excitement for the winners. The luncheon was filled with good food, shared appreciation, and a reflection on the year's accomplishments. A shoutout to our fantastic HR staff for organizing, preparing the food, and making this gathering warm and memorable for our Union City family!

Yesterday, Union City proudly celebrated the opening of Veterans Park, a beautiful space that honors the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony highlighted community, unity, and gratitude as residents gathered to honor those who sacrificed for our freedom.🎖 🌳 Veterans Park stands as a powerful symbol of Union City’s ongoing mission to Reclaim, Renew, and Reimagine, a tranquil space designed for reflection, connection, and gratitude. The park features a scenic bridge, a winding nature trail that circles a peaceful pond, elegant fountains, and a formal memorial area where residents can pause to honor those who have served their nation. Thank you to the brave men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, Mayor and Council, UC Staff, and residents of Union City. A special thank you to Benjamin Banneker High School's JROTC and marching band for their presentation of colors and musical selections. #UCProud #VeteransPark #R3MasterPlan #UCStrong
