We had a great time in Las Vegas during Money 20/20 connecting with leaders and innovators in the financial services industry. It was fantastic to demonstrate how Vonage's fraud prevention and security solutions are empowering businesses to build trust and create seamless, secure customer journeys. A highlight was our Lunch & Learn session, moderated by Aaron Seyler with panelists from Ericsson, McKinsey & Company and 451 Research, exploring the intersection of financial security and innovation, with a focus on how businesses can balance user experience with security measures. We also showcased our collaboration with Ericsson, combining the power of their Mobile Financial Services platform with Vonage's advanced security solutions. We’re enabling financial institutions to tap into the full potential of network intelligence — delivering trusted, real-time fraud protection at scale. The energy on the show floor and in our panel sessions was incredible. It’s exciting to see our solutions addressing the real-world challenges that financial institutions face today. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, our partners at Ericsson, and to our amazing Vonage team for making the event unforgettable. We are already looking forward to the next conversation and continuing to push the boundaries of financial security — together. At the World Banking Forum in Athens, Vonage’s David Darmon, Peter Arbitter from Aduna Global, Andrzej Ochocki from Deutsche Telekom, and Paweł Kowalski from mBank S.A. joined forces to reveal how the convergence of 5G, Network APIs, and AI can revolutionize fraud prevention and redefine customer experience across the financial services industry. They discussed current security challenges and how embedding mobile network capabilities directly into banking applications delivers breakthroughs in seamless and secure customer interactions. Darmon commented, “Vonage Network APIs give developers a platform to build solutions for banks to automate verification processes at scale, leveraging programmable network capabilities and verified network data for fraud protection. This elevates how banks deliver security, reduces revenue loss resulting from fraud, and transforms the customer experience.” "The collaboration between telcos, aggregators, and developer platform partners is crucial," said Arbitter. "Aduna’s role as an aggregator of telco network capabilities enables developer platform partners to drive the adoption of network APIs by developers, and expose digital innovation that advances secure banking services on a global scale." Ochocki added, "From a telecom perspective, the digitization of banking has significantly increased demands on network security. Deutsche Telekom is committed to offering specific network APIs that directly address these evolving fraud and security needs." Kowalski wrapped it up by sharing, "At mBank, we are constantly seeking innovative solutions to deliver a seamless and secure digital banking experience. Adopting network APIs in our fraud and authentication workflows has shown significant benefits, enhancing the customer experience and reinforcing trust."
