Everything we do these days seems to be based around the internet, AI and "the cloud". So to see something you've worked on physically exist in the real world is indescribably exciting (as you can probably tell from this video). Earlier this year, Will Foster and I set up a games publishing business - Release The Owl. Our first title - Your Call is Extremely Important - is a game about working on a customer services hotline. You either actually help your callers, or just make the problem worse and them dump them onto one of your colleagues. So it's not at all like real life. Over the weekend our first prototype copies arrived, and it was a bit of a moment. Still plenty to do until the game goes on sale in spring next year (including some actual artwork), but this felt like a milestone worth celebrating.
