By now, you’ve all seen it: The Coldplay kiss cam video viewed ‘round the world. 

It’s been spoofed, memed, and opened a dialogue about workplace affairs. Romantic entanglements at the office are very common, and so is infidelity. According to one survey, more than 60% of adults have had a workplace romance and of those 40% admitted to cheating on an existing partner with a colleague.

We spoke to infidelity experts to understand why so many people feel drawn to cheat with their co-workers — and the answers may surprise you.
