About

The ActionScript® scripting language lets you add complex interactivity, playback control, and data display to your application. You can add ActionScript in the authoring environment by using the Actions panel, Script window, or an external editor. ActionScript follows its own rules of syntax, and reserved keywords, and lets you use variables to store and retrieve information. ActionScript includes a large library of built‑in classes that let you create objects to perform many useful tasks. You do not have to understand every ActionScript element to begin scripting. If you have a clear goal, you can start building scripts with simple actions. ActionScript and JavaScript are both rooted in the ECMA-262 standard, the international standard for the ECMAScript scripting language. For this reason, developers who are familiar with JavaScript can find ActionScript immediately familiar. Animate includes more than one version of ActionScript to meet the needs of different kinds of developers.

About

ESLint is a static code analysis tool for identifying problematic patterns in JavaScript code. It allows developers to configure rules and define custom ones, addressing both code quality and coding style issues. ESLint supports current ECMAScript standards and experimental syntax from future drafts. It can process code using JSX or TypeScript through appropriate plugins or transpilers. The tool is integrated into most text editors and can be part of continuous integration pipelines, enabling automatic problem detection and correction. ESLint is the #1 JavaScript linter by downloads on npm and is used at companies like Microsoft, Airbnb, Netflix, and Facebook. Preprocess code, use custom parsers and write your own rules that work alongside ESLint's built-in rules. Customize ESLint to work exactly the way you need it for your project. Many problems ESLint finds can be automatically fixed. ESLint fixes are syntax-aware so you won't experience errors.

About

JavaScript is a scripting language and programming language for the web that enables developers to build dynamic elements on the web. Over 97% of the websites in the world use client-side JavaScript. JavaScript is one of the most important scripting languages on the web. Strings in JavaScript are contained within a pair of either single quotation marks '' or double quotation marks "". Both quotes represent Strings but be sure to choose one and STICK WITH IT. If you start with a single quote, you need to end with a single quote. There are pros and cons to using both IE single quotes tend to make it easier to write HTML within Javascript as you don’t have to escape the line with a double quote. Let’s say you’re trying to use quotation marks inside a string. You’ll need to use opposite quotation marks inside and outside of JavaScript single or double quotes.

About

Slate is a completely customizable framework for building rich text editors. Slate lets you build rich, intuitive editors like those in Medium, Dropbox Paper or Google Docs, which are becoming table stakes for applications on the web, without your codebase getting mired in complexity. It can do this because all of its logic is implemented with a series of plugins, so you aren't ever constrained by what is or isn't in "core". You can think of it like a pluggable implementation of contenteditable built on top of React. It was inspired by libraries like Draft.js, Prosemirror and Quill. Slate is currently in beta. Its core API is usable now, but you might need to pull request fixes for advanced use cases. Some of its APIs are not "finalized" and will (breaking) change over time as we find better solutions. The most important part of Slate is that plugins are first-class entities.
