How to resize a small OpenCV videocapture window in Python?

Question

I am making a rock paper scissors game using tensorflow in which the user can play with the computer through the webcam but the webcam image is too small like this : screenshot

Here is the snippet where i used OpenCV:

cap = cv2.VideoCapture(0)

    ret, frame = cap.read()
    if not ret:

Is there a problem with my webcam I have tring resizing the frame but it does not work.

see wiki.qt.io/OpenCV_with_Qt and install the Qt backend, then just put cv2.namedWindow("<some name>", CV_WINDOW_NORMAL) — qedk

You can resize by using this:

width = 1500
height = 1080
dim = (width, height)

frame = cv2.resize(frame, dim, interpolation=cv2.INTER_AREA)
