LLVM project email address to list when creating packages?

I’m doing some work on Python packaging, and one question that came up is what email address should be listed for the author (“LLVM”). One suggestion was to use the email listed in the debian package, but that seems to be debian specific. Is there a generic contact us or bug reports email address that would be suitable such as llvm-bugs@lists.llvm.org or a @discourse.llvm.org email address that gets used to post directly to a category on the Discourse forums?

As an alternative, it seems like having an email listed isn’t required so it could perhaps be left blank.

Unless the package is being built by official LLVM process, please don’t credit “LLVM” as the author of the package. It should be clear who is actually publishing it.

If the plan is to publish through some official process… there isn’t any single email/email list that will reliably reach the right people, depending on what the question is. We probably want to direct people to a webpage.

It will be published as part of the LLVM release CI jobs. The proposed packaging metadata will at least point to the LLVM GitHub issues ([libclang/python] Enable packaging libclang bindings by nightlark · Pull Request #125806 · llvm/llvm-project · GitHub). It sounds like it would be preferred to omit the email address entirely; we could even just entirely omit listing any author.
