C++11 has variadic templates.
Here's an example of printf using them:

template<typename T, typename... Args>
void printf(const char *s, T value, Args... args)

printf(s, args...); // call even when *s == 0 to detect extra arguments

throw std::logic_error("extra arguments provided to printf");
}
You could always just use printf directly.
There are also stdarg.h for variable arguments:

{
va_list ap;
