One year ago, we celebrated the successful completion of a special project: the Composite Elevated Tank (CET) at the NASA Johnson Space Center! 🚀 Working with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration is an exceptional honor, and this project was a testament to our team's dedication and expertise. This project wasn't just about building a 219-foot-tall tank; it was about navigating unique challenges, including strict security protocols and complex logistics. Our project management team excelled, coordinating subcontractor entry, material delivery, and crew movements with precision, ensuring every step was executed efficiently. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this project a success! We are proud to contribute to the vital infrastructure that supports the incredible work being done at the Johnson Space Center.

Looking for a reliable solution for large-capacity water storage? Composite Elevated Tanks (CETs) offer a smart, efficient way to meet elevated storage needs, with capacities ranging from 0.5 MG to over 5 MG. By combining a reinforced concrete pedestal with a welded steel tank, CETs are designed to adapt to your site conditions and operational goals. Whether you're working with specific head ranges or pedestal diameters, our flexible design approach helps optimize hydraulic performance for your system. Understanding how tank capacity, head range, and pedestal diameter interact can make a big difference in your water system’s efficiency. Curious about how head range is determined for elevated tanks? Let’s explore the key factors together.

Beyond safety, our at-grade construction method for Composite Elevated Tanks has a special advantage for local communities. By constructing our elevated tanks primarily at ground level, #Landmark ensures construction happens mostly "in the tree line" - minimizing visual disruption until hoist day. This means residents will see the new elevated water tank seemingly appear overnight, fully painted and branded, inspiring community pride without prolonging visual impact during construction. It demonstrates consideration for community-centric design and construction execution. See how Landmark builds with communities in mind. Contact us today.

We're excited to share that this project marks our 25th tank constructed for York Region (The Regional Municipality of York) ! This 8.5 million litres (2.25 MG) Composite Elevated Tank (CET) is a central part of the multi-phase Northeast Vaughan water servicing initiative. We're proud of the long-standing partnership we've built over the years and look forward to future projects together.
Sharing the progress of our next exterior project. A joint effort with another group of professionals, because great results are achieved by working together. #GreatResults #TogetherWeBuild #ProgressInAction #StrongerTogether #NextProject #Vaughan #Yorkregion #WaterTower #landmarkstructures

What if a single design change could transform operational safety for decades to come? Landmark has constructed the first Composite Elevated Tank (CET) in Las Vegas, in collaboration with Harber Company Inc.! When selecting a CET, the City of North Las Vegas also reconsidered how technicians access the tank. A standard vertical ladder can pose safety risks and limit who can perform routine service and maintenance. To address this, the 1.25 MG tank was designed with a switchback staircase inside the concrete pedestal—enhancing safety and accessibility while reducing physical strain compared to straight-run ladders. This staircase reflects a growing industry shift toward advanced safety standards and inclusive design that accommodates diverse physical capabilities. What safety innovations are you implementing in your infrastructure projects? We’d love to hear your ideas and solutions.
