Keychain secured $10M as it rolls out Keychain360, an AI platform aimed at accelerating retailers’ private-label development. 💸🤖 The round comes from W23 Global, a fund backed by the CEOs of Tesco, Ahold Delhaize, Woolworths Group, Empire/Sobeys and Shoprite Group, bringing Keychain’s total funding to about $78M since November 2023. Amazon will fold Whole Foods’ 100,000 employees into its core operations, signaling a new phase in the natural-to-mass convergence. The reported shift, per Business Insider, follows earlier integration that put Whole Foods CEO Jason Buechel in charge of Amazon’s grocery banners, with Amazon indicating no immediate changes for store teams.
