There’s something about the holidays that makes us all crave a little sweetness, slowing down, turning on the twinkle lights, and reaching for something chocolatey. This year, we wanted to make that moment a little more mindful. ✨ Our new Guilt-Free Gift Box is filled with our favorite SkinnyDipped treats, chocolatey, crunchy, perfectly balanced, and made for sharing (or not 😉). A reminder that joy doesn’t have to come with sugar overload, just real ingredients, good energy, and a little bit of dip. Now live on Amazon and Thrive Market for all your cozy snacking moments. https://lnkd.in/e3KAjNSu

  • National Chocolate Day feels different when cocoa is at an all-time high. 🍫   Over the last year, the cocoa market has been volatile, to say the least: for two decades, it hovered in a narrow range, then by April 2024, it was ~300% above its long-standing ceiling. By December 2024, it was ~333% above that ceiling (according to recent reporting by Forbes). Through it all, we’ve stayed anchored to our promise: we out-operate before we up-price. Our goal is to avoid a price hit that's felt at the shelf.   What this means for us:   •  Quality non-negotiables: clean labels with real chocolate, premium ingredients, and no fake, nasty stuff.   •  Smarter buying decisions by educating ourselves as much as possible on the cocoa market   To our growers, processors, and manufacturing partners, THANK YOU for standing with us through it all. We can't weather the storm without you. And a reminder on National Chocolate Day: chocolate is an incredible resource because it’s climate-reliant. Caring for the planet is how we keep the ingredients we love, now and for the long run. 🌱

  • Last week our SkinnyDipped crew swapped snack time for factory time. We visited our partner Treehouse California Almonds, LLC. at the orchard ✔️ and processing plant. It was inspiring, loud (hello machines), and full of aha-moments. Here are 5 things we learned walking the line: 1️⃣ Every drop of water matters. At the orchards they use micro-irrigation so each tree gets exactly what it needs. Smart tree + smart farming. 2️⃣ Bees don’t just buzz, they matter. They’ve planted pollinator-friendly forage across thousands of acres so the almond blossoms and the bees thrive together. 🐝 3️⃣ Nothing goes to waste. Hull, shell, kernel, they really use it all. The hulls become livestock feed, the shells get used for bedding or energy, and even damaged almonds turn into oil. (Yep, we love that part.) 4️⃣ Processing powered by purpose. The facility runs on solar arrays and is part of a next-level project turning shells into biochar, a tool that helps soil and locks away carbon. Renewable energy meets regenerative agriculture. 5️⃣ The people make it all work. We were so impressed by how hardworking, kind, and dialed-in the team was. Watching everything run like a well-oiled machine (literally) showed us how much care goes into every almond. Working with suppliers who live these values and lead with people power makes our snack game stronger and our planet game a little brighter. Big thanks to the Treehouse team for showing us around, we’re proud to stand beside you. 💚 What’s one “use-everything” or “powered-by-sunshine” practice you’ve seen lately in food or packaging? Drop it below, we’re always looking to learn more. 🌍👇

  • Big news from the SkinnyDipped fam! Our Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites just hit the shelves at Target AND Walmart! 🥥🍫 and good news SkinnyDippers, the beach vibes are here to stay. Every time we get a new product on shelf it still feels like a pinch me moment - what started out as innovating the first thin-dipped chocolate almond on the dining room table in Seattle has now grown into a nation-wide business with more than 12 different products that marry flavor with function. Our mission has always been to make cleaner, better-for-you snacks that are still ridiculously fun and delicious, and getting into Target and Walmart means way more people can discover (and hopefully fall in love with) SkinnyDipped. Huge shoutout to our team and community who’ve made this possible! You guys are everything. 📍 If you spot us in the snack aisle, send us a pic… we’ll probably be doing the same. 😉

  • It takes a village (and a lot of spices). 🍁 Bringing cozy season to life is a full-team effort, and as always, it starts at our founder Val’s kitchen table. We set out to create a Pumpkin Almond that’s anything but basic, and we’re thrilled that Brit + Co loves SkinnyDipped Pumpkin Spice Almonds as much as we do! So ICYMI, our seasonal favorites—Maple Kiss and Pumpkin Spice Almonds—are back for a limited run. Find them on Amazon / online and at select retailers. If you spot them in the wild, tag us with #SkinnyDippedShelfie—we love seeing your fall setups.

Today I’m sitting down with the powerhouse mother-daughter duo behind SkinnyDipped — the sweet snacking brand that shook up the chocolate-covered nut section and redefined the bulk bin. If you haven’t heard of them, you might be living under a rock… but don’t worry, we’ve got you. In this episode, Breezy Griffith and Valerie Griffith walk us through their decade-long journey of building Skinny Dipped from the ground up — the highs, the lows, and the gritty middle parts most people don’t talk about. Spoiler alert: Toward the end, Breezy shares the behind-the-scenes story of a full 18-month turnaround the team pulled off when investor dollars dried up. We’re talking a top-to-bottom rebuild that just might be the realest thing you’ll hear all week. If you need a reminder that building a brand is a marathon, not a sprint — this one’s for you. 🍫 Better-for-you, lower sugar chocolate is red hot, and SkinnyDipped is living proof. The Seattle-based company entered the market with a line of dipped nuts in 2016, but has since gained a strong foothold in the better-for-you confectionery space with portfolio additions like peanut butter cups and dark chocolate salted caramel. Confectionery has since become the largest part of the company's business and it's clear this push is paying off -- SkinnyDipped is projected to bring in over $100 million in revenue this year, according to co-founder and CEO Breezy Griffith. While other companies, including giants like The Hershey Company and Mondelēz International, have had to pass price increases onto consumers amid the cocoa commodity crisis, SkinnyDipped has pinpointed efficiencies within its supply chain to maintain pricing. Now, it's going even deeper into confection with the launch of Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites.
