In our recent article written together with NVIDIA, we explore how our collaboration is transforming the future of in-silico medical innovation through the integration of digital patient twins, AI-driven modeling, and GPU-accelerated simulation. Enabled by NVIDIA AI infrastructure, we’re developing scalable workflows that bring high-fidelity, physics-based simulations into every stage of medical device development — from concept and design to regulatory validation. By leveraging NVIDIA AI infrastructure and advanced visualization technologies, we enable the creation of anatomically accurate, data-driven digital twins representing diverse patient populations. These models empower engineers and clinicians to: ⭕ Simulate complex device–patient interactions under realistic physiological conditions ⭕ Run large-scale virtual trials with statistically significant cohorts ⭕ Accelerate development and improve clinical outcomes through rapid iteration ⭕ Strengthen regulatory submissions with robust in-silico evidence This collaboration marks an important step toward uniting AI, simulation, and cloud computing into a single ecosystem for safer, faster, and more cost-effective healthcare innovation. 🔗 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/dGzem9Si #medtech #digitalhealth #insilico #computermodeling #medicalsimulation

At Prima Mente we are building our next set of biological foundation models to understand multimodal biology and to protect the brain from neurological disease. We have reached the point where we can build these models at scale because of the trust and support of our partners. Especially the teams at NVIDIA around Alexis Black Bjorlin, Yangqing Jia, and Kourosh Behnam. With NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton on Nebius Cloud, we trained Pleiades, the first foundation model built on the entire epigenome. Running on 256 H200 GPUs and trained on 1.9 trillion tokens of methylation data, it reveals biological patterns DNA alone can’t explain. Pleiades decodes brain signals with unprecedented accuracy, reconstructing DNA fragments with 83% precision, detecting Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s with up to 0.97 accuracy, and identifying cell types 10x more precisely than existing tools. Excited to keep strengthening our partnership and driving new scientific breakthroughs together NVIDIA Healthcare and Nebius! If you are curious to learn more about our work and its applications, please reach out.

In a recent study in Nature Biotechnology, our scientists, in collaboration with Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and NVIDIA Healthcare, developed an AI model called GNEprop, to help virtually screen billions of compounds for novel antibacterial properties at an unprecedented speed. The study revealed that using GNEprop is 90 times more effective at identifying compounds with antibacterial activity compared to using traditional methods alone, redefining how we discover and develop novel antibiotics. http://spr.ly/60467DSpw Swipe to learn how our scientists are pioneering a “platinum” age of antibiotic discovery with AI.

We just published a technical deep dive detailing our work integrating NVIDIA Clara Open Models into VolView, expanding what’s possible for browser-based clinical AI workflows. 👉 Read it here: https://lnkd.in/eRuBZGhH This work builds atop our demo at #nvidia GTC DC 2025, where we showcased how VolView integrates Clara’s open-source models to deliver segmentation, reasoning, and synthetic data generation capabilities inside a zero-install, browser-native platform. Why this matters: VolView enables clinicians, researchers, and developers to work with workstation-class visualization (2D/3D, volumetric, cinematic) entirely in the browser, with no client installation required, and no streaming infrastructure needed. The architecture decouples client rendering from backend AI services, allowing independent evolution of the viewer, models, and infrastructure. We integrated three key Clara model types: NV-Segment-CTMR: a 3D foundation segmentation model for volumetric labeling and downstream workflows. NV-Generate-CT/MR: synthetic CT/MR generation to support augmentation, education, and PHI-safe prototyping. NV-Reason-CXR-3B: a multimodal, clinically-aligned reasoning model enabling chat-style exploration of imaging studies. What you’ll find in the blog: A layered architecture overview: data sources → browser-viewer → communication layer → backend AI services. Descriptions of the model integration, how the UI streams segmentation results, how synthetic volumes are visualized, and how the reasoning model supports interactive workflows. Practical deployment guidance: how to launch the demo, integrate your own models via a lightweight service interface, pilot on a single GPU, scale as needed. If you’re working in medical imaging, AI, visualization, or clinical workflow innovation, we encourage you to explore the blog and then try out the demo repository at https://lnkd.in/efJyP7Rx And if you’d like to collaborate on custom workflows, model integration, or scaling strategies — let’s connect!
