Worked for ten years in a military setting, old (now obsolete) MIL-STD-2167, Jovial (which preceded Ada). I went to academia/research for fifteen years,(some OS mostly CV), then went back to do some real work.

Care about reliability, and readability of code. My work is mostly C/C++ (and ind the past Jovial, Pascal, Fortran, Assembly, and, when needed object code as well - a lot of).
