From Visitors serie, episode 17, minute 27 circa. Willy and young friend are playing a video game, which game is this? Is not Captain commando, is very similar (but is not) to Chicago coin commando, is more recent than Chicago coin commando. Anyone know which game is this? I add some pics. Consider episode is made in 1985, so Game is not over 1985 The game contain the word "commando" at the end. I try to search it on this engine, but they don't have an option to sort results by date so you have to browse over 800 pages! In this forum the image appear, but you have to browse a discussion of over 300 pages

EDIT1: the game is probably fictious, there is no info in google, or game databases, some proofs:

  • no pictures on internet, in game databases, etc.

  • some sites report it as ficitious

  • the master proof, the left side of arcade is copied from "Chicago coin commando "flipper" only changing colors of Helicopter

anyway consider the episode is from 1985 they made a very good work.

    Guessing "Canyon Commando", I googled that and got to this website: v.popapostle.com/html/episodes/V80/War-of-Illusions.htm At 27:40 on the DVD, Henry and Willie are playing an arcade video game called Canyon Commando. This appears to be a ficitious game. Commented Oct 27 at 12:52
  • Fictious? Is possible they realize in 1985 a completely coin-op only for a tv serie? I suspect the game exist, but nobody has proof or images of it. Anyway atm this is the best answer, so I can accept as temporary solution if you put your comment as answer. Commented Oct 27 at 12:55

    To me – and only judging from the stills – the graphics do not look like something you would see in an arcade video game in 1984. By the way, the computer they're using is a TRS-80 Model 100. Commented Oct 27 at 13:19
