I have the same problem, but with different query. In the debugger my query looks like "select ... resource_value='1111CONCAT(\'1\' creditcard_token)" but when it is process by "EntityManager.createNativeQuery(..)" method it becomes "select ... resource_value='1111CONCAT(\'1' creditcard_token)" - the second quote is without a backslash. Here is your problem:

The SQL syntax that Hibernate is generating for you is incorrect.

This is one of the harms of using Hibernate: You could find yourself in a mess if you don't like or understand the SQL it generates for you.

That's not the complete SQL statement. I'd recommend getting it to see what the problem is.

Repeating the same behavior and expecting a different outcome is one definition of insanity. I'd recommend that you regenerate again, but check your mappings and entities to make sure that they're correct. Make sure you haven't used any MySQL keywords as variable/table/column names. Those will be a problem.

I think your object mapping/HQL statement is not right hence resulting into invalid SQL. Try enabling the SQL (show_sql=true) through configuration and see what's wrong in your generated SQL. This will give you better understanding of the issue.
