I am attempting to install pycurl-7.19.0 on my Mac OSX 10.8.4.

The error I get when compiling:

py setup.py install

The results:

This works for me on OSX 10.9

sudo env ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" easy_install setuptools pycurl==7.19.0

finally got it working after trying for an hour. thanks a lot
Thanks! Worked on OS X 10.6 as well: env ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" pip install pycurl
Thanks, also works for pycurl2 (it was giving the same compile error): sudo env ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" easy_install setuptools pycurl2
