Error while deploying the Spring-mvc web application

Question

I am trying some hands on spring mvc web application. I wrote the query in repository

@Query("select c.paymentDetailName from customAttribute c  where c.entityId=?1 AND c.entityType=?2 and c.paymentDetailName != 'null'")

and my debugging/deployment failed with the following error:

Any idea?

You can see error at last illegalArgumentException in the stacktrace.See there is clearly written that "customattribute is not mapped". — Satyam Koyani

This fragment in your trace is telling you that you have defined a query on an entity that is not mapped:

how to map customattribute. I have customattribute table in my db, and i want to fetch the details for which paymentDetails is not null. I ran the query on sql workbench , and its executing fine

Share the spring configuration xml i.e dispatcher servlet. Either you have not mapped customattribute to a table or not configured it properly.
