I have a javascript function that detects whether the user is on a desktop or mobile browser. I want to use the value of that variable to determine the href value of a link. How would I go about this? Here is a copy of the javascript I am using.

Based on whether it's true or false I want a link to send the user to different pages.

Is it allowed/recommended in JavaScript to name a variable (isMobile) the same as the parent function (isMobile)?
I changed the function name just to be safe. :)
Hmm, that doesn't seem to work. When I click on the link it does nothing. I have it set to go to a static page if on desktop, or to call a phone number if on mobile. When I click on the link, it does nothing.
you have to make sure the JS code comes after the html
@UweKeim but you need the var first, without the var it doesn't work.
