My AndroidManifest looks like the following...

  <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" />
  <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW"/>

  <uses-sdk
      android:minSdkVersion="16"
      android:targetSdkVersion="22" />

  <application
    android:allowBackup="true"
    android:label="@string/app_name"
    android:icon="@mipmap/ic_launcher"
    android:theme="@style/AppTheme"
    android:name="com.todos.MyApplication">

    <meta-data android:name="com.facebook.sdk.ApplicationId" android:value="@string/facebook_app_id"/>

    <activity
      android:name=".MainActivity"
      android:label="@string/app_name"
      android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation|screenSize">
      <intent-filter>
          <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
          <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
      </intent-filter>
    </activity>
    <activity android:name="com.facebook.react.devsupport.DevSettingsActivity" />
  </application>

This started breaking when I added com.todos.MyApplication source file...

When I open the project in Android Studio and navigate to MyApplication.java I see the following...

    Did you try just .MyApplication in the manifest? Commented Sep 8, 2016 at 4:18

Are you still facing this issue?

I have resolved this issue by installing clean apk:

  1. First uninstall the previous installed APK.
  2. Then run the following the commands:
cd android
./gradlew clean
react-native run-android

Above commands will first go to the android folder, then clean the folder using ./gradlew clean, and then rebuild the react-native run-android command in the root of the project.
