I am working on a component made on Bootstrap. It has inheritance of an overlayer to show two buttons when you hover the card, part of this implementation is to comply with WCAG 3.2.1 but when I set the CSS :focus for the card and one of the buttons get focus, the overlayer is not showing and causes confusion to the user. I have set the aria-live attribute but still struggling to show the overlayer.

This image shows the overlayer feature with the two buttons. If users tabs til reach this buttons the overlayer does not show and the user is lost since he doesn't see the focus
